DELTA: High Performance in Sustainable Waste Management with 99% Utilization of All Generated Waste
For its excellent environmental performance, DELTA has achieved a Gold Certification for Zero Waste to Landfill from EUROCERT for 2023.
As part of its sustainable development strategy, DELTA has completed the certification of all its facilities across Greece according to the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard “ZWTL-EU1.” Through the certification from EUROCERT, it has been verified that 99% of the waste generated by the company for the reporting year 2023 was directed towards further utilization, such as recycling, reuse, biogas production, and not sent to landfills, achieving the GOLD tier of the Zero Waste to Landfill Standard.
Upon the announcement of the results, DELTA's Business Integration & Operations Transformation Director, Alexandros Skandalakis, stated:
